Side Dish

Three yams, baked.

Mash with 1/2 cup cream,  1/4 cup maple syrup, 2 tablespoons Maker’s Mark.

Garnish with toasted pecans.

Did I read that right?  Just two tablespoons of bourbon?

Oh dear.

  1. I will have to try this, good bourbon sound better than marshmallows. At first, I thought I would have to google maker’s mark, then I read the comments. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

    • Ann, this recipe is so good that it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without it! It’s just that my measuring spoon slips, sometimes;)

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving too!

  2. There’s definitely a typo in that recipe. Besides, measurements are more of a guideline, right? πŸ˜‰ I love the subject, love the humor, and really, really wish my invite to dinner hadn’t gotten lost in the mail.

Thanks for the laugh, my mega-talented friend. Hope your Thanksgiving was fabulous. πŸ™‚
