Grace in the Leaving

She was always going to take center stage in my life, my heart, always.

Isn’t that the way any good mother would feel?

But she had a news flash for me-she didn’t want to tie me down, didn’t want to carry the burden of knowing I was forgoing my life, my heart, for her.

So she turned me loose.

Gave me permission to open other doors.
