Fall

Call it spatial disorientation, if you will.

How I lost the horizon, and saw stars.

Thinking I’d found heaven.

Yet if I had it to do over.

I’d still be Icarus, and not a stone.

  1. I love it when I read something that makes me think. Your writing always does that. I read it through 2 or 3 times to get the full range of what you are saying. Probably why I studied English Lit because I enjoy analyzing literature…lol! Seriously, though, fantastic!
