over it

hurtling

head first

hurt

yet every time

I claimed

a piece

of myself

I broke

that fall

and fanned

the flames

a little higher

so much water

under

bridges

burned

you may have

to some

been good

but you were not good

to me

  1. Why is it always imperative that whenever one falls down from a height, the head touches the ground first? Probably due to the burden of thoughts or emotions a person carries, I presume!
